【絵画・アクリル画】如月 藪椿 ( やぶつばき ) 茶花 シリーズ / February Camellia japonica/　丙烯画 山茶花

日本を代表する美しい花木の１つである椿 ( つばき )。中でも、椿の野生種で、最もよく見られる種類が藪椿 ( やぶつばき ) です。別名「山椿（ヤマツバキ）」とも呼ばれています。万葉集のころから知られますが、近世に入り、冬の茶花としても、愛用されています。

花言葉：我が運命は君の手にあり、理想の愛、謙譲

この作品は、佐賀鳥栖での企画展「私的日本集 第２話 筑紫 鳥栖」展で発表したものです。
「お茶花集」を構成する１作品の中でも、特に好評だった作品です。

Camellia is one of the beautiful flower trees representing Japan. Among them, Tsubaki's wild species, the most common type is Yabutubaki. Also known as "Yamatubaki". It has been known since the Manyoshu Islands, but has entered the early modern era and is also used as a tea flower in winter.

This work was announced at the exhibition "Private Japanese collection the 2nd Story Chikushi Tosu" exhibition in Tosu,Saga.
Among the works that make up "tea flower collection", it is a particularly popular work.
